The Furnace is quiet, and fully automatic, controlled by a wall thermostat for reliable, round-the-clock service. Air moves silently and efficiently, directed by louvers or ducts. Quick and easy maintenance, two or three times a season, will keep your Heat-Wave furnace operating at peak efficiency.
Heat-Wave uses a pressurized, single line fuel system that reduces wear on the pump, and filters the oil being burned. The two-stage oil heater cycles on and off with the furnace, eliminating oil carboning (the number one cause of waste oil furnace failure).
Features
- A proven aluminum preheater warms air and oil to ideal temperature for clean, odor-free combustion, and then cycles off with the furnace. This eliminates oil-carboning, which is the number one cause of competitive furnace failure.
- Heat-Wave's unique design causes a triple pass of heated exhaust air through heat exchanger tubes before exiting up the chimney. Maximum BTU transfer occurs as air passes over the heat exchanger tubes and the firebox, providing high heating efficiency.
- The furnace can be floor or ceiling mounted.
- A high-efficiency squirrel cage blower moves air quietly, and comes standard on all models.
Maintenance
Maintenance for dust removal is quick because panels remove from two sides. This provides easy access to heat exchanger tubes that are four inches in diameter. The burner swings away for fast maintenance of the nozzle and electrode. The aluminium preheater does not have to be removed for cleaning. Many customers report not having to wire brush the oil passage in the preheater for 6 to 7 years.
