Enjoy the Comfort of Hot Water Heat
Hydronic systems use hot water to store and deliver heat throughout a building. This is very efficient because water is the ultimate medium: you can hold much more heat in water than in air. Water can 'transport' heat over many hundreds of feet while air is limited to about 60 feet. After travelling hundreds of feet, hot water can run through a radiator to produce... warm air! If you choose to heat your building with water, you have the ultimate in future flexibility. The water can even be heated by additional solar, geothermal and technologies not yet invented.
Using hot water to heat your buildings also gives you the flexibility of zoning. Several thermostats are used to set the appropriate level of heat in different areas, allowing for even greater cost savings.

Is there an ideal boiler?
Pictured at the left is our most popular model. This unit was designed to be as flexible as possible. Note it includes a domestic water coil to heat your potable water! It’s compact size saves on freight, uses minimal floor space, and requires a smaller vent than others of comparable output. Its price allows you to start with one unit and as your needs grow you add additional units for less initial cost than going to a larger unit at the outset. For critical greenhouse operations, two boilers provide redundancy; when one is down for routine maintenance, the other is operational. For a boiler, long burns are more efficient than many short burns. On cool nights, run one boiler. When winter really hits, fire them all!
They are built to exceed the ASME Code requirements and carry a US National Board Registration Number while being Canadian Registration Number exempt! The documentation clearly shows you how to safely install the unit – you will pass any required post installation inspections. A full suite of pressure and temperature gauges makes monitoring the waste oil boiler simple.
