Used oils are a source of inexpensive, environmentally-friendly heating fuel. When burned with a patented Kagi burner they can save you literally thousands of dollars every year. Kagi burners consume a variety of oils cleanly, without smoke and very little odor. Used transmission oil and motor oil, for instance, burn well. Both #1 and #2 fuel oils can also be burned with a flick of a switch and a simple turn of a screw to adjust for the different fuel viscosity.

Waste Oil. Used vegetable oils. Bio-diesel. All are inexpensive forms of fuel that are readily and safely used by Kagi multi-fuel burners. If you generate a sufficient supply of your own waste oil, the cost of heating with it is ZERO.
If you need to acquire your waste oil there are waste oil transporters. The rate is holding steady at about 27˘ /litre for delivery! Because waste oil is truly a waste product that cannot be safely dumped into the ground, landfills or waterways, commercial entities that generate large quantities of waste oil must typically pay a third party for proper disposal. The oil itself should be free! Our KAGI burner is EPA approved as the safest way to dispose of waste oil. Depending on your facilities, you might choose to apply for recognition as a formal waste oil disposal facility and you can be compensated for each litre burned - regardless of the source of the oil.
